You put together a structured inquiry — with catalogue products, your own line items, target quantity, target date and files such as drawings or print artwork.
We check feasibility, clarify open points and recommend the most economical route — trading deal or agency.
We research and assess manufacturers, collect supplier offers and organise samples for approval.
You receive a binding, versioned quote with quantity tiers, terms, Incoterm and a payment schedule.
After your approval we oversee manufacturing and inspect the goods before shipping against defined criteria.
We arrange freight, customs and import and deliver the goods cleared. Invoices follow the agreed payment terms.
Trading or agency — you decide
Depending on the project, we act as a trader or broker between you and the manufacturer. We recommend the better-suited model during qualification.
Untego buys the goods and resells them to you — carrying the goods value, the landed cost and the import liability. One point of contact, one invoice.

What do I need for an inquiry?
A description of what you need — a catalogue product, a drawing, a sample or, to begin with, just an idea. Target quantity and preferred date help with the assessment but are not required. We clarify open points together during qualification.
Is my inquiry binding?
No. The inquiry is non-binding. It only becomes binding once you accept a quote.
Do I see the product before production starts?
Yes. Samples are an integral part of sourcing, and production only starts after your approval. Which kind of sample makes sense — a standard sample, a material swatch or a pre-production piece — depends on the product.
How long does a project take?
That depends on the product: whether it is an existing item or a new development, how many sampling rounds are needed, production capacity and the transport route. You get a realistic estimate as soon as the requirements are clear.
Who is responsible for the import?
In a trading deal, Untego carries the import responsibility and delivers the goods cleared. In an agency setup you buy directly from the manufacturer — we agree together how import and customs are handled.
Do you only deliver to Germany?
No. Our focus is the German market, but we also deliver to other countries. Simply name the destination in your inquiry.
Where can I see how far my order is?
In the customer app: status per milestone, documents such as quotes, inspection reports and invoices, and shipment tracking — in one place, without having to ask.
